Driving Directions

From Glacier Park International Airport (FCA)

About 20–25 minutes · ~18 miles

  1. 1 Exit the terminal and head north on Airport Road toward US-2.
  2. 2 Turn right (east) onto US Highway 2 E.
  3. 3 Continue east on US-2 through Kalispell, past the strip.
  4. 4 Keep going through Columbia Falls — we're on the right (south) side of US-2 at 7336, just before the river.

Tip: GPS works well on US-2 the whole route. Our sign is visible from the highway.

From Whitefish, MT

About 20 minutes · ~14 miles

  1. 1 From downtown Whitefish, head east on US Highway 2 E.
  2. 2 Pass through the Columbia Falls junction — continue east on US-2.
  3. 3 We're at 7336 US Highway 2 E, on your right as you enter the Columbia Falls corridor.

Arriving from the Whitefish Amtrak station? It's the same route — about 20 min by car or rideshare.

From Glacier's West Entrance (West Glacier)

About 15 minutes · 11 miles

  1. 1 Exit the park and turn right (west) on US Highway 2 W.
  2. 2 Follow US-2 west about 11 miles into Columbia Falls.
  3. 3 We're on the left (south) side at 7336 US-2 — look for our sign just before the main Columbia Falls commercial area.

Glacier National Park

The Going to the Sun Road is one of the most spectacular drives in North America — and you'll wake up just down the highway from it. The west entrance at West Glacier is your gateway into the park's crown jewels: Lake McDonald, Logan Pass, and hundreds of miles of trails.

Going to the Sun Road is typically fully open from early July to mid-October. Timed-entry vehicle reservations are often required during peak summer months. Always verify current conditions, reservation requirements, and road status at nps.gov/glac before you go.
